The Freddy Does Another LTE
Just sent in another actual letter to the editor to a newspaper. Less than 100 words so they should print it. More hard- hitting commentary from The Freddy. I won't say what paper or subject it was yet. Feel free to take a guess.
If it doesn't get published by the end of the week I'll post it here.

The paper: Times-Standard.
The subject: The kids on your damn lawn.
If the Times-Standard drive-by paperman would hit your doorstep, instead of your lawn, maybe all of the highly literate youth running free on your block -- with nothing better to do -- would stop lounging on your grass while reading the day's news. The worst part is they complete the crossword before you wake at 7 a.m.

But not on Mondays!
"Henchman Of Justice" says,
It is illegal for the paper delivery person to park within any persons entry way to their driveway. HOJ is drafting a letter to Peter Fennel of the T-S with a copy of the California vehicle code section that applies, and a CC to the California Highway Patrol and a certain private investigator to get the address of the vehicle's owner to send them a copy too. Then, a few pictures of the rude and harassing conducts by the delivery people who awaken HOJ early in the morning with their engine exhaust systems, music/radio and slamming doors that project into the residence from an area prohibited to park within.
Noise pollution is a BIG DEAL! If members of sociey could get more sleep, then society would be more at peace with itself. Alas though, rude and disrespectful fricken people are everywhere. Too bad a meteor could not have taken out some of the population. - HOJ
I'm impressed. After reading your reply to my comment on detaining alleged terrorists, I did a little search and found your blog.
If your letter is in the Bee, I'll look for it. :)
Your comments below suggest you are anti-government. Are you? Just curious..

I prefer to call myself pro- personal choice and civil liberties. However, I will concede I am against a nanny state government (and the people who support it) that involves itself in every aspect of one's life.
I thought I'd see if I could go find a letter I wrote from long ago that was published in the Sacramento Bee. Couldn't find that one but instead found this one published on July 9 of last year. What a surprise, I didn't even know they published that one:
