I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. Didn't see him on Colbert, but watched him on Glenn Beck. Makes way too much sense for a politician. I'm gonna have to check out his positions on other issues.

Thanks for the heads up on Barr (Mr. Right turned Libertarian). Perhaps his name recognition will pull in as much as a 3% share of the votes cast in November. Apropos of the far left Colbert, I ran across a video of his clash with George Will
HERE. Will actually handed Colbert his ass whereas Barr was outclassed. It looks as if ALL the various "nominees" are political hacks of various stripes. Getting drunk on November 8 may be a better option than voting.
