The Big Louie's Web Site

Just noticed, in an ad from the Times- Standard, that Humboldt's best pizza place- Big Louie's Pizzeria in Eureka- has a web site. Simple, and kind of rough on my eyes, it even tells how Big Louie's got started. Some of the links on the different pages don't work right, though.

Love Big Louie's!

Fred: Big Louie's is the best pizza in Eureka.

AND The Humboldt Mirror is back. I just checked. It is back.

Yep, but I'd say Tom's Sourdough Pizza was as good or better when they were still here. They still have a small shop on Fortuna. Don't know if that's still as good as the Eureka one used to be.

And Big Louie's is a huge contributor to all sorts of community fundraisers.

Walmart is the largest corporate donor in the world. So Louies is like Walmart but smaller?

Yes, their BLT pizza is really good. When we can afford to order from Big Louies, we usually order their Baja pizza- their version of the Mexican pizza. It's really good and similar to the BLT. When I saw the picture of the BLT on the web site, I first thought it was a Baja.

Fresh? Fresh as in freshly bought in a giant tin can at Costco?

As good as Big Louie's is, a BLT pizza is just wrong!
