I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. Funny you should bring this up. While I'm not a Capital-L Libertarian, I am a regular reader (and linker to) The Agitator and other Reason/Cato folks.
When I saw the name HumboldtBlue, I had to start googling for him/her to see if they're a local. My search brought me here.
The comment on the Agitator is ad-hominem drivel. Normally I wouldn't even waste time cutting into that pap. I'm so sick of the "Libertarians are Republicans who smoke weed" crack.
If you find more info on HumboldtBlue, please post it to your blog?
Haven't found anything yet. I cold of sworn I saw Humboldt Blue listed on one of the local blogs. Maybe it was Humboldt Something Else?

Unfortunately, cheap slogans trump reasoned arguments every time, and this HumboldtBlue is chock full of slogans lifted from the pages of the Huffington Post.

Yes, if you look back to the times of HumRed you will see multiple posts from Humboldt Blue on the progressive crap blog.
Happy to see that Fred's still dealing with the big issues here.
