Fred's Humboldt Blog
I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. Not good for us softballers Fred.
It's supposed to be for just today and tomorrow. It's not even on the weekend. It might even help keep some of the dust down on the baseball fields. You guys should be just fine.
Fred... Part of the reason that I live in Southern Humboldt is for the warm sunny weather. I put up with a long, fairly miserable winter for some well deserved sunshine. If you like to be wet, go stand in the shower! Then go outside and hose all your tools off so they can rust. Myself, I'm going to go poke pins in my Fred doll.
LOL! It went from absolutely the best, nicest, warmest, sunniest, no wind finally kind of day to rain - just like that.
This global warming'/climate change/man caused disaster is getting out of hand!
April showers bring... June showers.
Nearly 3/4 inch showing on my rain gauge as I write this. YESSSS!!!
About the only problem is radar shows heavy rain, possibly thunderstorms, up in Siskiyou and Northern Shasta County. Hope no fires get started.
On the upside, if they do, there's plenty of water to fight them with.
