2011 Civil Liberties Update

Nice piece from Anti-War.com here on the state of your deteriorating civil liberties.

This was a very interesting piece, Fred.

I was curious about this quote: "...police in North Dakota working with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol arrested a family of farmers using information acquired by a spy drone..."

I'm going to look that up to see what that was about. I wonder if it was marijuana growing or somesuch thing rubber stamping the unusual use of drones taking place in the Air Force's own North Dakota backyard of bases.

The article certainly contains some food for thought about future trends of civil liberties, not much of which comes as a complete surprise, Fred.

There's more information in the link below about this article's quote, "...police in North Dakota working with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol arrested a family of farmers using information acquired by a spy drone..."

Not only is there more to the story, but the use of drones domestically is more than we all thought with two dozen surveillance flights since June out of Grand Forks alone, in the interest of homeland security, safety, and border patrol operations:

These are some interesting times we live in, Fred.
