British Docs Give Thumbs Up To E- Cigs

Reason magazine reports the Royal College of Physicians has given approval to vaping and e- cigarettes as a way of reducing the harm from smoking:

"Large-scale substitution of e-cigarettes, or other non-tobacco nicotine products, for tobacco smoking has the potential to prevent almost all the harm from smoking in society," the RCP says. "Promoting e-cigarettes…and other non-tobacco nicotine products as widely as possible, as a substitute for smoking, is therefore likely to generate significant health gains in the UK."

Shame that this sort of thing has to come from Britian, of all places.

Any idiot who tries to smoke one of those things in my house will find himself out on the porch.

The powers that be are in a tizzy over e-cigs. The real problem is they foresee declining revenue streams do to e-cigs. They are as addicted to money as any smoker is to nicotine.

This reminds me of the tea baggers who found one lone "scientist" who didn't believe in global warming

That's great news!
Britain must not have the tobacco settlement trust sluts like the u.S. has.
The propylene glycol is a germ killer, I can see why certain types of people would be terrified of possible encounters with the vapor.
Strange isn't it, how vapers exhale less formaldehyde than non vapers. With the EPA declaring zero to be the only level of toxic release acceptable, you'd think an eCigs would be in everyone's bug out bag.

It cracks me up how idiots call non combustionable vapor, smoke.
I'm going to go to the sauna and enjoy a nice smoke bath.
Look at the smoke arising from that tea kettle!
I hate when it rains on hot pavement and all the smoke rises into my car vents.
When it's foggy outside, I rush to put on my gas mask, because everyone knows that steam is smoke!

Clive Bates takes on the California anti-human groups, aka tobacco control groups funded by our tax dollars.

This will brighten the tobacco master settlement trust fund's recipient's day.
