Mendocino To Mull Pot Issues

Wow. The Ukiah Daily Journal's, K.C. Meadows, gives us a heads up on upcoming city and county activity in Mendocino County regarding marijuana being grown there. Among other things, the Ukiah City Council is considering outlawing the growing of Marijuana outside. No mention of indoor grows which seem to be the problem in Humboldt. It seems the outdoor grows have caused enough headaches by themselves.

If you're reading this late, it's the November 23rd post on her blog.

Banning from growing outside?

Quite the opposite from Dr. Ken Miller's letter that appeared in the print edition of the NCJ, which suggested that indoor grows be banned because of the amount of energy it takes resulting in global warming. Plus, the electrical power stresses the plants.

Yep. I haven't heard of any problems with indoor grows in Mendocino, yet. It will be interesting to see, should they actually ban outdoor grows, if problems with indoor grows (as we have in Arcata) end up sprouting up in Ukiah.
