Honsal Running For Sheriff

The Times Standard reports newly appointed count undersheriff Bill " Billy" Honsal is expected to run for Sheriff later this year when the election opens. Sounds ok to me. I guess it depends who ends up in the running. Maybe he'll get my vote. Maybe not. We'll see.

How many inmates will OSHA protect from the wood splitter?

OSHA has investigated before, so why does OSHA sweep humboldt county criminal actions under the carpet baggers' own rugs?

It seems to reasonable person that once a wood splitter was part of the very first human incident that OSHA would have ensured the county of Humboldt only allowed properly trained and certified people to operate the wood splitter.

OSHA might as well incriminate itself for being a feel good, sound good but no good agency.

OSHA - the agency that investigates its own criminal conduct is not impartial and Society needs an independent review.... After all we can't have the murderers investigating themselves...

I'm not sure we'll be well served wtih someone who has bounced around various law offices in search of supervisorial power, as Honsal seems to have. Perhaps better with someone laid back like MIke Downey that matches the mood of the county better? We'll see.
