Cobb's My Word
David Cobb had his argument against private development of the Balloon Tract in the Times- Standard today. The Times- Standard noted Cobb's column would be added to their blog so people could comment on it. Nice idea to get traffic to their blog but it doesn't look like too many people are taking advantage of it as comments there have been sparse.
Funny thing is, I don't see his My Word piece on the blog, yet.

Cobb's piece is riddled with inaccuracies, self serving and filled with hate. I'm surprised the TS allowed it through.
Well, when it shows up on the Times- Standard blog, why don't you post some comments pointing out the inaccuracies?
Cobb's position couldn't have been expressed better by Lenin himself.
Does anyone post comments on the TS blog? Eh, it's worth a try.
Yeah, Democracy Unlimited supports local businesses only if they support their illegal ballot measure.
"Democracy Unlimited" is part of the Orwellian chant. It SOUNDS good, but it is the opposite of what it claims to be.
Cobb is an idiot. It sounds like he is smoking too much of something "Green." I like the Orwellian chant remark from Rose. Seems appropriate. Cobb and Democracy Unlimited (what nuts are in this group) seem to want to frame the issue as an "anti big box" issue. Its not. Its "a do absolutely nothing" position that they take with everything. Lets have another 20 years of brownfield - Thats what they say. I saw the plans in the North Coast Journal and it looks and sounds great. Can't wait to stroll down the Marina complex, have lunch, dinner, shop and relax.
Cobb and his nut buddies always seem to say that they have a "vision" for someone elses property. They don't want to buy the property. They can't fund their visions. They just want to beat the drums and chant. At first, I was truly disgusted with the T-S running this lame attempt at an editorial. But now that I think about it, Cobb, Salzman and the other lunatics are exposing themselves everytime they open their mouths. I say, keep it up.
And Cobb or R.Trent Salzman - if you answer this don't continue your chicken ass routine of using fake names.
"Can't wait to stroll down the Marina complex, have lunch (out of a trash can), dinner (out of a dumpster), shop (in a parked car) and relax (with my new orange shopping cart in PALCO Marsh)."
Good lord, trash cans? Get bent.
Democracy Unlimited will leave us all to dig through trash if we let them.
