Gas Prices: It's Government's Fault

This article in today's Santa Rosa Press- Democrat seems to go along with the one I posted here earlier on: That gas prices should go down after a while, but maybe not as much as they have risen. It also covers calls by the usual suspects for investigations into price gouging.

This other one, in today's Wall Street Journal, covers pretty much the same thing, but says the rise in gas prices are the fault of government policy and the politicians behind them.

Naturally, I found the WSJ article a better read.

Anything so monumentally FUBAR naturally has the government's fingerprints all over it, but is it true that we have the rulers we deserve?

I ask you what has this government done to help the working man or woman. Not much, so did we actually vote for them or did they fix the votes? Watch out next election!

The government is not any particular PARTY. The best thing the government could do for "working™" or non working people is to leave them alone and quit stealing from them.
