I was awake at the time. Didn't feel it. I'm sure this is a big story, important to the good people of PETROLIA. Since when did Eureka become Petrolia?

I felt one of them at my home in Redway. Wasn't huge, but definitely noticeable.

Eureka is the epicenter of the world? What are you, Copernicus? Excuse me, dear blogger. Your solipsism is showing.

I didn't feel it either. Must have slept right through it.

Yes, 10:17, Eureka is the epicenter of the world for newspapers located in and primarily covering Eureka. One is called the Eureka Reporter. The other's full title is Eureka Times-Standard. Your arrogance is showing.

i live on the coast 30 miles south of petrolia and my house was shaken majestically, the biggest one since '92- it was so quick and powerful i had no time to be afraid, just road it out in awe- it WAS the experience of the year for me...

odd that no one else reports feeling it like this- maybe few have high speed, or blog access out there?
