Ukiah City Council Endorses Measure B

I'm not sure quite what to think of the Ukiah City Council endorsing Measure B. Measure B puts further restrictions on Measure G- passed a while back- which has pretty much opened the door to marijuana growing in Mendocino County, or so some feel.

My main question is whether it's a good idea, or even proper, for a city council to take a stand on an issue which will be decided by voters? I think it might have made more sense for the council members to take a side on the issue as individuals, not as an entity.

Not sure why. Maybe it's because it seems almost like, as an entity, they're telling the voters what to do?

So , if they endorse measure B does that mean they are for less marijuana growing ? Sorry , but i don't know a lot about measure B however , they need to concentrate on alcohol sales , even make it illegal . After all , this is the World's most destructive drug...........alcohol ! AS far as Pot goes i am not a grower , so i do not care either way what happens but , I'd like to see beer tax doubled to help stop it's use .Just think of the health related medical costs to the State over alcohol . Millions ....it creates obesity , strokes , heart attacks and a huge host of other problems to the human body besides killing and injuring thousands on our highways & of course , the State has to pick up the tab for a lot of these injuries . No wonder we're broke .

Wow! 9:29 AM (aka Carrie Nation) has put away her hatchet and swapped her bible for Karl's Manifesto.
