Will code enforcement in the United States end up as it has in Great Britian? It wouldn't surprise me at all.

The part about "Have your pot plants got pests?" could be included in the Code Enforcement Unit here which would assume that pots plants are OK but just not if they have pests on them. Anyone know what kind of pests get on pot plants?

I think the writer was actually referring to potted plants. I know the British have different names for some things like calling flashlights torches. Anyone know if the brits call potted plants pot plants?
