Wow.
I beg to differ
Just too bad the people up there are so very ugly.
Actually, I think Crescent City is pleasant enough. Most cities have a "seedy backside" ....CC has WalMart and Pelican Bay to balance the harbor, Battery Point and Jed Smith but most of the other cities also have coal mines or some other crappy section they'd rather not have tourists see. With rose-colored glasses, CC stands up as well as the rest of them do. Sometimes it's best just to see the good in things....if you're passing through.
Depressant City does have some "pretty" places.
