Has anyone yet to determine the actual cost of the Humboldt Made and the Love, Humboldt videos? This seems to be a case of form over substance on a very expensive scale. Humboldt Made, although a little dull, was a credible marketing statement. Love, Humboldt was self-indulgent, dull, and a project that missed whatever unidentified mark they were trying to hit. Why is the film commission making movies? I thought it was supposed to attract movie producers from outside the area to bring projects here. This little project made with squandered public monies is pretty shameful example of Humboldt County's special gift...grants used for smoke and mirrors.
