Satellite Pics of Haiti
Here's a few before and after satellite pics of the Haiti earthquake. Seems like I had to look real close on some of the first ones to see damage but the last two were pretty clear.
Thanks to Popular Science magazine for the heads up.

Thanks, Fred. These pictures helped me get a better idea of the damage. I noticed the roofs in the "before" pictures were smooth, while in the "after" pictures, they were broken up into smaller pieces.
By the way, Fred, I've posted a couple questions about antennas on the TV Antenna Adventures: Part 2 article from December 2009.
In case you haven't seen them, here's what I wrote:

Fred, let me ask you this: If I get an indoor (or outdoor) HD antenna and a converter box for my new 24" HD TV set, how many HD channels will I be able to pick up clearly? I live smack dab in the middle of Eureka.

While I'm asking questions, Fred, let me ask you this. Have you ever known anyone in Humboldt County to have their home computer fried due to line surge or lightning?
I worry about lightning whenever there's a storm. It would be nice to find out I've been worrying over nothing, so I could stop worrying from now on.
By the way, I use a surge protector.

Sorry for posting these questions here, but I didn't know if you would notice them in the other place.
By the way, did you see the famous dog rescue this afternoon? What a cliff-hanger!
