Gas Prices Rising Soon

California is looking at anywhere between a 30 to 80% increase in gas prices within the next five years, reports Cal Watchdog. This a result of AB32- that global warming law. That will be in addition to any nationwide increases in gas prices.

And just you watch, when these prices go up we'll be hearing Californians blaming the "greedy oil companies", despite the fact a majority of Californians voted for the price hikes.

The Willows Journal had this to say on 11/23/10. Why wasn't this reported locally?

"Oil stockpiles are at their highest levels in six months, but pump prices aren't dropping, thanks in part to a lack of gasoline reserves," said Matt Skryja, a AAA Northern California spokesman... California's average gas price is the third highest among all 50 states...

"The least expensive average price in Northern California can be found in Chico, Marysville, and Tracy where regular is $3.10.

Of all the metro areas in Northern California where gas prices are tracked by AAA, Eureka's average price of $3.33 is the highest. It's also the highest price reported by AAA in the lower 48 states."

The highest price in 48 states is Eureka? The lowest in No. Cal. is only 6 hours away?

Humboldt is getting hosed again, Fred.

Even Costco price is up to $3.259. Oil has been trading lower but prices still go up.

Hmmm, pay more at the pump, or contribute more to the demise of my species. Hmmm, tough choice.

Sadly the demise of the "progressive" species is unlikely to occur until it has sucked all the blood from California's producers and starves from the absence of a host to feed upon.
