What's the old saying, "Politics makes for strange bedfellows?" Politics also makes for some "Strained Bedfellows." It is sad to see former freinds and associates prostitute themselves (figuratively speaking of course) and part ways largely due to ego and personal gain.
They all earned their stripes through backdoor manuevering, changing allegiances and compromising principles.
