Gary Johnson In 2012!

Past two- time Governor of New Mexico, Gary Johnson, formally declared his candidacy as a Republican nominee for President today. How refreshing to have a straight talking guy in the race.

No, I don't think he'll win the nomination. I think he'll probably be treated worse than Ron Paul was by the mainstream Republicans, but that doesn't matter. He's got my vote.

Whether I'll switch parties in order to vote for him in the primary remains to be seen. Probably not, since you can bet the vast majority of Republicans will vote for a more statist candidate.

Now it's up to all of us to head to his
campaign web site and donate. You'll also want to go to his Facebook page, like him, and get everyone else you know to do the same.

I realize this is a bit early but let's get this show on the road!

So Fred you think that child labor laws should be repealed?

Gary Johnson does. Personally I think that there are already too many people fighting over too few jobs. You must not work for a living.

And you don't think I should be able to hire a 13 year old for a couple bucks an hour to fix my computer?

Well, he couldn't be any worse than Obama. Obama promised us JOBS, then we would be able to spend money like drunkin' sailors. So far all we've done is spend money like drunkin' sailors with NO jobs.

@Fred, paying a 13 year old to fix your computer is not a reason to get rid of child labor laws. The law in question, does more than that, it also encompasses minimum wage (think about what happens to wages if this particular protection goes away..third world living standard, here we come.) Don't get me wrong, I agree with Gary on almost everything else..but thats one law that doesn't need any tweaking.
