Casey Anthony Verdict
An absolute travesty. She should have been convicted on at least some of the charges related to her daughter's death, other than just lying about it.

must have been a Humboldt County jury
Mommy (Grandma)should be prosecuted for perjury.
At that POS defense lawyer talking all kinds of trash.
oh well, this kind of BS verdict is not the first of its kind
Casey: your life is over. No one will ever accept you - maybe trash like you will. There are worse things than death and sometimes its to go on living.
I think there is a difference between not guilty and inocent. I might ad a jury that takes so little time to reach a verdict tells me they saw much more than we did on TV. The real sorrow, a beautiful little girl is still dead.

Actually, as someone pointed out on Greta Van Susteren the night after the verdict, the jury actually sees less than the rest of us do.
Assuming TV coverage is gavel- to- gavel, viewers get to see and hear pretty much everything that goes on in the courtroom. The jury doesn't. They're often made to leave the courtroom while lawyers and the judge discuss issues and for some testimony.
At the end of the Greta Van Susteren show that day they had a short segment on the crowd outside the courtroom. After the verdict one lady, astonished by it said, "Did the jury watch the same trial I did?"..
Then one of Greta's lawyer guest pointed out that, no, they didn't see everything that the lady saw.
Sorry, but you don't go out partying when your child is missing. Period. End. Of. Story.
Most likely scenario - duct-taped and chloroformed, to 'let her sleep' in the trunk while Mom is out partying, accidental death, and then the cover-up, with the (Grand)Dad's help...
Did the state prove its case - obviously not.
But, God help us, let's hope that she is not given the opportunity to have another child.
