Cotati Mulls More Fast Food

Who'da thunk that a small town in the heart of yuppieness would reconsider their limits on chain stores and fast food? The Santa Rosa Press- Democrat reports the City of Cotati is taking a look at allowing more chain type businesses. They have too many empty storefronts and want them filled up.

"Henchman Of Justice" says,

Fred, remember your post on Eureka's empty storefronts and one of the commenters suggesting a "special tax" to force the building owners to lower their rents or suffer a penalty?

Ya, whenever the "free market" gets people with ideas that penalize business opportunities, it kinda gives some creedence to the problems going on that may be best described as a result of the type of people who are messing-up the economy while living a misguided lifestyle.

Personally, HOJ won't disagree that fast food is bad for one's health (how much is debateable) BUT HOJ don't mind if more people eat fast food because then maybe they'll die more quickly and help reduce the overall over-population scenario.

Of course, the flip side argument (until politics and law pull its head out of its ass), is that the mfer's who eat like shit are gonna want taxpayers' taxdollars to subsidize their hospital bills, extra health needs, etc....

The country called U.S.A. is one "fracked-up hombre" right now, and has been for decades (meaning most of HOJ's life)! - HOJ
