Fred's Humboldt Blog
I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. It's a sad day for America when vigilantism replaces the rule of law.
Even sadder when Jack Booted THUGS point sniper rifles at protestors threatening to shoot while tasing women. The Federal Gov't is out of control. They could have put a lien on Bundy instead of all the theatrics and expense.
Whatelse would you expect from a DEMOnCRAT?
I love listening to Spanish music stations as I truly miss Latin culture from my youth growing up in and around Santa Barbara. I would suggest every European look at the map of North, Central and South America and realize that south of the U.S. border the lands are filled with Latinos, and most all of them want to come to America.
There's a highway of millions of immigrants stretching all the way to Argentina with the front of this train of people coming daily into America. It cannot be stopped except by putting a Wall of China up all along the U.S. border. And even then people will find a way over it or under it.
I don't think it can be stopped short of adopting Mexico as part of the U.S.A. and then having a much smaller entry border with Guadimala to cover and a lot more U.S. Latino citizens not wanting more Latinos coming in. It's Mexico that is the real problem in our border because historically, all the south U.S. was Spanish controlled for centuries. Including California.
