Julie Has Had Enough

Our very own Julie Timmons had her letter to the editor published in the Times- Standard today. She's quite clear she doesn't want any "parklets" in Old Town. Boy, she sure told us!

I agree with Julie. I also noticed there is a vacant lot on the South end of the new Bay Front walkway. This could make a very nice parking area for employees and non-handicapped visitors, leaving street parking less crowded, allowing some handicapped parking designation on the streets and providing a lovely walk for the visitors to stroll the streets of Old Town. This could encourage more "buying time" a real plus for commerce. By: Deborah Morton

Good for her, I applaud her.
One of goals of the UN agenda is to minimize cars, parking areas, and force rural people into stack & pack tiny apartments.
Ever watch the foreign country videos where the bullet trains go right through the middle of market place where there is barely room to escape it? That's the goal globally, including here.
"The goal is to homogenize the Bay Area and the nation with 'smart growth'--mixed use developments subsidized by your property tax dollars, with ground floor shops and two to four stories of residential units above. Very little parking, very little open space, few private outdoor areas. Constructed right next to a busy street or rail-line (active or not), these condo and apartment developments discourage private vehicles. - See more at: http://www.democratsagainstunagenda21.com/the-way-we-see-itour-blog/top-down-rule-regionalization-globalization#.dpuf

We need to talk about population control then if you don't want to talk about city planning.

Are the UN agenda propagandists the same folks who warn against chemtrails?

For the record, I am not a conspiracy theory enthusiast.

Try researching sometime.
I did just now. ICLEI parklets. Several hits. This one looks interesting. http://innovation.luskin.ucla.edu/content/reclaiming-right-way-toolkit-creating-and-implementing-parklets
