New Eureka Parks And Rec Blog
I received an e- mail notice yesterday from Eureka Parks and Recreation announcing their new e- mail notification list. They also pointed out their new blog which announces all things new in Parks and Recreation. I didn't see any instructions for subscribing to their list. In my case, I guess I'm already on it and just have to unsubscribe if not interested. I suppose you call up Parks and Recreation if you want to be on their list.

Eureka Parks and Rec sure has a lot of money to throw around considering things are so bad they're had to close firehouses.
But Julie, if not for them, you couldn't recreate.
Julie, the fire department isn't in the Parks & Rec department.
And, an e-mail list and blog are examples of frugality. Mailing lists are typically free, and they're hosting their blog on a free hosting service.
Excuse me. Blogs are a lot of work if they're done correctly. IF I'm not mistaken both Park/Rec and Fire are part of the CITY budget. I am not a customer of Eureka Parks etc but I find it strange that with all the bitching about fire and police and the peril that the all of homeless are supposedly wreaking upon the citizenry, Parks is adding to staff. I just find it odd. Have a great weekend.
Your Humboldt Sentinel link is incorrect; it should be: http://humboldtsentinel.blogspot.com/
Fixed. I need to add The Humboldt Consequential to the list.
