Dealing with Rising Minimum Wages

The California Political Review looks at business' attempts at dealing with recen't minimum wage increases. Will automation step in to replace those workers? It's already happening in some situations. That will likely continue, with or without minimum wage increases.

The best way to help insure that people have jobs is to conduct business with people instead of machines. Use a teller, not an ATM. Press "o" or say "agent" when faced with a recorded phone announcement. Buy what you need from local stores in person.

It will be the only way to stay in business... until the new mandatory robot insurance takes effect anyway.
Tom DeWeese recently wrote an excellent article, sharing a few of the expenses business owners face. I pity any land, home OR business owner in today's world. http://americanpolicy.org/2015/11/12/compassion-thy-name-is-theft/

All employers need to be aware that the minimum wage is increasing as of January 1st to $10 per hour.

OMG, the sky is falling!

What would have a more important effect on business and the consumer would be a maximum wage limit levied on any and all corporate businesses entities. HaHaHa. How unAmerican is that?

The Carly Fiorina's of this country would not exist rapped in the fictional armour of "responsible leadership" but in the real vestments of just getting financially, vertically lucky. Save that particular business model for the horse track and lotto.

How does a person actually "work hard" for the multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses given out like jellybeans through executive board action - ie, these guys reward themselves - which does not involve the somebodies down the company line who actually do the work for a lot less?

Free market enterprise my ass. This is the real sickness that needs to be cured and the primary reason for income inequality.

Another move to oust American minimum wage earners is in the senate now by the H-b coalition. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/12/05/gop-legislators-push-plan-replace-americans-import-264000-foreign-workers/
