Times- Standard Letters

I was surprised to see Times- Standard columnist, Tim Martin, being fairly nice to GOP front runner Donald Trump. I suppose he's not too far from me. I won't vote for Trump but I appreciate someone that doesn't bow to political correctness.

Your told by the TV that he's not PC, while he is the most PC candidate ever to hit the trail.

He's a former Democrat who has been busted hiring illegal aliens dozens of times, yet claims he is a conservative who is against illegal immigration. How much more PC can you get? He is PRETENDING to have political beliefs that he doesn't espouse to in order to gain favor (votes in this case). That is the very definition of PC

Fred, you should be aware that when someone uses PC as a defense of their personal actions, a whole lot of us view that to be making excuses for racist and/or bigoted viewpoints being expressed.

Some moaners about PCism should live by the golden rule: don't be a dick.

Agreed . Trump's "I'm not politically correct" is a sham to attract the low-info voters.

I'm glad you are feeling better Fred and back at it. Wishing you a speedy and complete recovery. Humboldt wasn't the same without you.

I agree, that was a most refreshing article.
I doubt I would vote for him, but even so, it's encouraging to see people pull away from the propagandists & research on their own.
