Ayn Key on Calexit

Blogger Ayn Key takes a look at Calexit and presents many, if not most, of the issues involved.

Fred, from your 5 posts on the subject of CalExit, 4 of them are from libertarians fantasizing about this right-wing dream. The only link to a journalist's opinion laid out pretty clearly why it won't or shouldn't happen.

Let me tell you from a liberal perspective why it shouldn't happen. 1) US History 2) At this point it would be sour grapes about losing an election. Wasting time and energy on negating elections is something I'd like to leave solely to those folks right of center.

That's the short version. You are welcome.

Also, burying the lede in Ayn Key's post: "Allegedly the parties have reversed roles on the subject of race"

The hyperlink takes you to this post of hers titled "Southern Strategy?". I think she may have used a question mark accidentally instead of an exclamation point. Otherwise it's fake history.

If California left the Union, it would be a similar Jewish/Palestine debate.

California West Bank, got a ring to it.

I kind of like the idea of the Environmental Protection Agency, clean air laws, clean water laws, and the like. I would not want to live in a California were the EPA has been dissolved and beneficial environmental laws are rolled back, with corporations free to pollute because federal law supersedes state law.

To that end, I see Calexit as a progressive cause.

That said, it won't get on the ballot, at least not this time around with the present group trying to do it.

Libertarians might like the idea, particularly with regard to Jefferson State, but if you bring all of California into a new nation, it won't be a libertarian nation.

(I mean, Calexit is basically an attempt to keep what we have that Trump is trying to take away. Libertarians like a lot more of what Trump is doing than progressives do. For progressives, it's looking for a needle in a haystack to see anything of favor in this administration. It's 100 times worse than any Republican presidency in our memories. I honestly believe the country will be set back 20 years after this is over, assuming the pendulum swings back after this nightmare is over So much damage will be done if he and the GOP do everything they say they want to do now that there's no check/balance against them.)

Too funny, you never learned about the carbon credit scam...offsetting taxations.

In California, where liberal slave monkeys eat it all up mellow yellow style.

Progressives only mastered self inflicted rape after bloated head syndrome......to a progressive and a liberal, rape is a guarantee and if you are a white man, outta favor.

Just think, when the system falls, lots of progressives and liberals will go into hiding to avoid punishment for their years of abusing.

It's a fight between clean vs extreme clean, common sense industry regulation vs smothering mandates, privatization vs fascism, liberty vs enslavement, spirituality vs science.
Science brought eugenics, behavior control, genocide, democide, taxing, cult worship, and even the gay immigration ban. Science brought pharmaceuticalmafia vs natural meds.
The all or nothing insults tossed about by the taxing zombies is so far off base it's laughable.
Believe it or not, even the State of Jefferson wants clean air, renewable resources & jobs. The part that differs, is they want true representation for every county so that all voices will be heard and represented. Calif lacks that.

Spot on HOJ. The UN is responsible for so many wars it's disgusting, including the Palestinians vs Israel.
The funny part about that war? All people, minus one or two, trace their dna back to Abraham. We are all the "chosen ones", thanks to the biblical scattering of the true Jews.
Our hearts know it, it's our intellects that keeps us off course. Oh to be wise instead of just the smartest or rightest one in the bunch!

The question mark was appropriate. The term "Southern Strategy" is sour grapes that the South is now up for grabs instead of solidly Democrat.
