I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. If you haven't yet read them yet, The Triplicate has published some reader's stories of their experiences in Crescent City's 1964 tsunami. Some are bit humdrum, or so I thought. This one is pretty good. My favorite is this one that the Triplicate linked to.

The Triplicate started their six part series today on the tsunami that hit Crescent City in 1964. It was news to me that the earthquake that spawned the wave was a 9.2 magnitude quake. I was always under the impression it was only a 6 something on the richter scale.
