Hard hitting piece in Cal Watchdog this morning about European countries thinking twice about their commitment to green energy. Sadly, I don't think this is going to happen in California.

A fireplace in every house. No gas. No pellets. Wood! Give our high school graduates jobs mowing down forests to heat our homes. Not one those pansy efficient wood stoves, either. Brick mantlepiece. Open flue. Cold air coming down the chimney if you foolishly choose not to keep a fire lit 24/7.
