Newsom For Governor?
The Sacramento Bee looks at that darling of The Left, Gavin Newsom, and his plans to run for governor next time around. He certainly won't get my vote. I hate his guts probably as much as I hate Hillary Clinton's, although he doesn't strike me as condescending as Hillary.
My battle cry in that election will be ANYONE BUT NEWSOM!!!

That kind of thinking saddled us with Trump. I used to think Clinton would get us into the most military conflicts, but now I fear Trump will bungle his way into full scale war. Every day it's a new outrageous headline, sometimes multiple bunglings in a single day.
It's no different with Trump than it was with Obama except the press is watching Trump's every move so it seems like he's involved in new issues.
Newsom? I remember when his name was in SF Gate it seemed like forever with all the problems (legal and personal) to do with his wife and their relationship. Not someone to trust in public office if they can't run their own life well.
Villaraigosa? I loathe the man. Another look at his family candidate: His wife is a school teacher, stood behind him when he was out of office, supported him, his given name was Villar, he added her name to give him a more distinctive name, then he started playing around, divorced, dated tv news reporter, got a job fronting for Herbalife (a pyramid company) and so on. Not the top of the Hispanic political hierarchy, but uses it when it benefits him (and they can use him). He hitched his start to Clinton and got caught in the backwash when Obama lost. Now he's trying to scratch his way back into high office but he wasn't a good mayor and he wasn't all that great in lower offices.
Who I have been watching and want to see more about his plans...John Chiang. Currently State Treasurer.
He's been working to get banking for those in the pot industry:

He is the same official who stopped the state from doing business with Wells Fargo when information came out about that bank creating false accounts for their customers to make more money
He was the State Controller before he ran for and won the Treasurer office.
This is one thing he did while Controller:

He was responsible for having a website created which provides information on California indebtedness so ordinary people can access accurate details on all the aspects of public debt in the state. Check out the site. For those who are concerned about public debt, it's a very useful tool to knowing more than what public officials will tell you/want you to know.

The other candidates I don't know about. But someone who stood up to the governor, who told the legislators that they weren't going to be paid until the budget was balanced...who told Wells Fargo off....well, he may be a Democrat but he sounds fiscally conservative which is better than any of the other Democratic candidates.
I've never endorsed any candidate for any office so I'm not on his bandwagon but he is a note of sanity when I think about Newsom and Villaraigosa (just thinking about those two makes me want to scream).
Since the primary will be an open election, who knows what candidates might come in a one & two?
We need a petition to legislate consequences for electeds who betray their country by betraying the Constitution. Consequences already exist, stepping down from favor, from office, however, the officials seem to think that the people are allowing them to screw us over. Far from it. We must strangle the allow part. We do not allow! Get your filthy hands off all our rights!
By the way, Tim Donnelly might be running again. It will be up to the public to get the word out. The calif mefia (play on mafia/media) won't give him a shout out.

Response: this paper pusher has helped to fuck up the budget, play tax dollar shell laundering games, etc......
What is it with people who think that just because a person's first and last name is some foreign entity, then all of a sudden, their minority status makes them an honest trustworthy humanoid in American politics?
