This Blog Is Updated

I just upgraded this blog to the new Google version. All of the sudden a window popped up saying I could upgrade. Wow! I feel so special. We'll see how well this works out.

Well, I get a bit farther than I did, but now it's not accepting my password as matching my username.

Eric, your username will now be your gmail address

That does not always work either.

Well, I was able to bypass the problem simply by hitting the "open new account" option. It still sent my existing blog over.

There are some distinct advantages to the new version. The interface is easier to navigate. I haven't done much with the graphics features yet, but the code which I've altered didn't corrupt when I switched over.

I did have my fingers crossed.

Judging by the photo, Carol looks suspiciously out of season.

The one thing that bugs me so far is having to use my e-mail address as my username. It was much easier just typing in humboldtlib.

Oh, as far as the counter, Carol; Have you tried reinstalling it the same way you put it on in the first place? Check the counter web site, they probably still have your account open. Then just install it the same way you did the first time.

I told you, make your gmail name short, because it becomes your sign in name - the only downside to the whole thing. The new version is much more stable and far more user friendly, and those who know code and like to tweak their design can still do so, I think.
