Cell Towers vs. Wifi

I was just over at Heraldette's blog reading the comments over the cell phone tower controversy. The comments got me to wondering:

How many of these people opposing cell phone towers in and around Eureka also think government should build and maintain wireless computer networks for all to use?

Good point.
How about the radiation in Bananas or the cosmic background microwave radiation left over from the expansion of the universe.

Nothing a little echinecea and good vibes won't help.

This tendency toward seeing overarching truths hidden among the weeds of common misperceptions, while admirable, will cause you untold trouble, Fred. Be brave! And keep those revelations coming!

Fred, why don't you try and get them to lease your roof or backyard for the tower? Give them a call, might get you a lease payment every month.

Wonder if anyone has noticed the telephone poles clustering the scene with all those hanging wires?

The cell tower issue is just another wedge the progressives have found to posture over.

Facts are, we demand the service, just like telephones and cable, so we will have to live with the technology that provides the service.

If Kerrigan and Glass ever once approached one of these "posturing" opportunities with the truth, maybe we wouldn't have to fight over something so trivial.

One good thing: Sue Brandenburg says she is moving out of town because of it.

Now that's something we can celebrate.....of course, she has threatened to do that before and then stayed on to file another frivolous law suit against the city.

Fred, they'll offer you about $500 bucks a month.Well,at least that was the offer given to residents here for the tower which now sits at Pine Hill Baptist Church.

Hmmm...I guess that's not bad, but I thought it would be more than that.

And what about all of those electric blankets, bedside clock radios, TVs, computer screens, overhead powerlines, etc., etc.???

All that stuff is kid stuff!

What about the Intergallactic Death Rays that are bombarding our planet and our very bodies every moment of every day? They are what age us and eventually kill us! Why is there no outrage directed at them? Why? Oh, Why?
