Solutions

I've become more and more convinced over time that the only answer to problems in this country, and around the world, is civil war. I see no other alternative. Sadly, I don't have the guts to participate- at least I think I don't- and it would be interesting to try to choose sides.

Fred,

You see the best solution for our problems is a civil war?

Do you prefer a short 4 year one like the War Between the States that killed a million Americans? Or would you like a longer one, like the 40 year old civil war in Columbia?

Do you understand that war is unpredictable and damage to all sides is often underestimated at the beginning?

Anyone who advocates civil war is either insane or an idiot.

Fred, there are peaceful democratic solutions to all of our problems.

have a peaceful day,
Bill

I have a friend that says that same thing, "We need a revolution".
I've always said that, "We need to get smart, and start voting for good people.
He says "It ain't gonna' happen. People arern't that smart".
Then I say, "What happens if we win the revolution?"

Sadly, TV controls how the average person votes. Young people are incredibly smart, but they are also incredibly naive. I think that was the real reason that they lowered the voting age. The young are pretty idealistic, They will vote for anybody that promises them what they want. Regardless of what can be delivered.
