The Repeal Amendment

Randy Bennett reports a new amendment to the U.S. Constitution has been introduced in Congress. It's called the Repeal Amendment. It would allow the legislatures of 2/3 of the states to repeal any federal law or regulation:

"Any provision of law or regulation of the United States may be repealed by the several states, and such repeal shall be effective when the legislatures of two-thirds of the several states approve resolutions for this purpose that particularly describe the same provision or provisions of law or regulation to be repealed."

At least some on The Left aren't happy about it and claim this amendment could make slavery legal in the country again. I like it, although I realize this could end up being a double edged sword.

I don't think it will go anywhere. I think most in Congress, despite rhetoric to the contrary, are quite comfortable with the power they hold over states and individuals in this country.
