It's A Heat Wave
Hard to believe it's supposed to be 69 degrees today, isn't it? Especially with all the fog and clouds. But that's what weather.com is forecasting. It gets a bit uncomfortable for me when I'm working outside, but I wouldn't mind if it stayed warm like this all winter.
Except for snow. We need to cold weather for snow to replenish our water supply. And maybe a little frost to sweeten my brussel sprouts. Other than that, this is fine.

I will be really surprised to see 69 degrees today. I might have to wait on building a fire though. Went to Redding over the weekend so Robin could sit in the sun one more day before winter sinks in.
Only 65 degrees, so far, and weather.com has amended their forecast to a high of 68.
As I write this at 3:36, weather.com says it's 69 degrees outside. They made it!
Actually, I've noticed the weather.com temps forecast is usually a few degrees warmer than what they predicted. At least it has been the last few months.
Here it is a day later and the predicted high temp was 65 or 66. I forget. Weather.com says it's 70 in Eureka right now.
