I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. The Santa Rosa Press- Democrat has a nice piece on asset forfeiture. That's law enforcement seizing assets such as cash and cars they believe were used in crime.

And our lack of liberty shines brightly. If you think its easy for beaurocrats to come into your home to take your weed, watch how much easier it will be to come take your guns away. And dont give me this crap about fighting back. The people who stand and watch like little sheep as the "war on drugs" robs the us of liberty aren't going to fight back. They are conditioned to follow orders of beaurocrats, not fight. That's all talk.
The public conditioning for such acts as lawful murder by accusation and seizing personal property by "beliefs" remember, starts right here on Brownshirt blogs that censor and block for refusing to agree - the audacity to postulate differing observations and comments.
