The Game!

I couldn't care less about sports. Apparently one of the few in the world that doesn't. So I was surprised to see KIEM- TVs poll up asking if people would be watching The Game on Sunday. 50% of the votes cast the same vote as I did, at least for now. Maybe I'm not the loneliest guy in the world?

Sports, religion and politics.....Opiates of the masses. You aren't missing much. A bunch of guys in tight pants chasing balls around. I swear that most of the guys watching are stuck in the closet. Since we live in such a prude society, guys have to watch football to get their jollies.

I agree. Watch how many men will ignore thier wives/gfs in order to get drunk with a group of men while watching athletic young men chasing balls around. Then we have FANTASY football! It is all so sexual. Thoughout history, there have always been older men who worship younger men sexually. This is just a offshoot of that.

I always find it funny to hear men arguing about which of their favorite young "studs" is the best player. They even wear jerseys to prove their loyalty! It's all about sex. Freud was right.

Lol. Those arguments are funny. No, my favorite stud is the best! I've got the stats to prove it!

What a waste of brain space...

The prior comments sound like observations, not jest. Comparing it to another game like tiddlywinks would be in jest.

There is truth to the theories above regarding guys liking to watch other guys in a sexual way. The very best day of the week to find women to hook up with is Sunday. While the husband's and their "friends"...or is it boyfriends....are getting their jollies together drinking and watching boys run around, their wives are out looking for guys who like women.

I hate football. Super Bowl Sunday used to be my favorite day when I lived in Hawaii because you could go to any beach and have it to yourself.
