Mendocino Has Pension Problems

I don't follow the Mendo papers as much so hadn't heard much about it but an editorial from the Willits News tells of the county's problems with public pensions and finance. Hard to say how it compares to Humboldt's as I don't have all the numbers.

The Anderson Valley Advertiser (Boonville) has been following this story for some time. One can read the online edition at www.theava.com, but the paywall kicks in very quickly.

Shasta Lantern paper has been covering it for a long time too.
All of Calif is under a pensioners fibers veil.
The soj51 will take over half the debt once they are their own state, without tight over reach, just simple sensible over reach. But it will take close to another 1-20 years to get it done.

Spellchecker changed "fib" into fibe. Fibbers veil.
