I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. What about the idea that we should unbalance a critical part of the "mixed economy" - government. If you are interested, here is some summer reading to help you understand how the mind of what you would deem a "statist" things.

It always amazes me how much tax money the leftists demand for govt in order to assure the citizens all live at equal poverty rates.

Umm, but America was not created for an economy, ot was created for freedom, liberty, pursuit of happiness.
Only the gubbamint and its structure of laws and misrepresented or unreprepresented enforcement of the basic laws is a roadblock.
Aint no way in hell business prevails over human basics.
Aint no way in hell economy is more important than individual rights.
Here is that "balance" you feel gubbamint provides:
