Trump Derangement Syndrome
I read Justin Raimondo's commentary on Trump Derangement Syndrome over at antiwar.com yesterday. I was planning on posting about it here, then forgot about it. I noticed the Santa Rosa Press- Democrat also ran it today and figured if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me:
"The country is in the throes of a major epidemic, with no known cure and some pretty scary symptoms. It’s called Trump Derangement Syndrome, or TDS, and it’s rapidly spreading from the point of origin — the political class — to the population at large."

You finally noticed? The most ignorant president in history is also batshit crazy.
TDS is about you, Julie. Not Trump.
To clarify; it's about you and all those who think their lives have come to an end with Trump's election, and just can't get over it.
My concern stems from the man's spoken words, and the advisers he has surrounded himself with. Suffice to say, I was concerned when Bush brought in Cheney's crowd, and look at he train wreck he made of the country. Now look at the far/alt-right people Trump has assembled. I expect much worse than Bush. I'd happily accept Bush back rather than this.
"They're protesting against a hallucination they call "Trump" that has almost nothing to do with the man who is now the president-elect." Buy more popcorn.
That's some disturbing shite right there. It's been going on for the entire campaign, it's about time the SR paper finally tuned in to reality.
I enjoy following Chuck Baldwin's banters about Trump's picks. Chuck is a bold, straight forward, tells it like he sees it person. He hates DNC & RNC both. It's no wonder Ron Paul endorsed him when he ran for President in 2008(?)! Chuck will rant, or worry out loud for many days or weeks, then he will post his lightbulb moments on who Trump should pick & why, what Trump should veto & why, etc. Informative & helpful when he breaks through the fog of stress.
You as a libertarian are an important part of the Republican coalition that allows for them to win national elections.
In order to point out this so called TDS as something noteworthy is to ignore that Trump himself was part of an incredibly vigorous and lucrative industry of Obama hatred. You do remember that Trump helped lead the despicable is Obama American crusade don't you?
And the hatred that ultimately won Trump the election for Trump was, again ironically given this post, the hate industry that started with the political crusade against her husband and finally ended almost 2 weeks from the election with our top cop's letter to Congress.
TDS indeed. Yes, Fred, it is us liberals who somehow are reacting unfairly to a leader of the opposition.
______________
BTW, what does this even mean?
Especially when discussing Trump’s views on immigration, hysterical TDS victims assume there’s no difference between the president-elect’s rhetoric (get out!) and his proposed policy (deporting known criminals who are in this country illegally).
So are you endorsing the idea that politicians should lie to get elected?
or this...
Carlson asked for evidence that Putin’s alleged machinations had any effect on the election. Unable to come up with a coherent answer, Schiff morphed into J. Edgar Hoover: “You’re carrying water for the Kremlin,” he said, “you’re going to have to move your show to ‘Russia Today.’”
... are you going to argue that the Russians did not have anything to do with this election? Are you going to disbelieve your own lying eyes?
Words like kleptocratic, oligarchic and authoritarian are important to understand and compare to reality. It's a great idea to minimize the importance of these words by labeling the opposition as having a mental disorder, but please understand that by doing so you, as always, are carrying for your party by default, the Republicans.
