More On Ethanol

As I mentioned here not long ago, I've never been much of a fan of ethanol. In this Tech Central Station article, the author reminds us not only how ethanol was nearly taken out of the picture years ago because it's such a heavy polluter, but also of the dirty politics that made ethanol the player in the fuel industry it is today.

Surprise surprise! A good example of what happens when politics determines economic issues. Another "progressive's wet dream", not to mention the windfall for the corporate farm lobby.

i read an article today that claimed that there is no wat that ethonal can produce enough fuel to supply the current american demand...sorry i don't have asource for that, it was some newspaper,...but anyhow, don't believe me if you want. My point is that although i agree with Leonidas the Greek superhero or whatever on this one issue, doesn't mean that I think he/she is right about anything else!!!
