Don't Vote!
Yes I know it seems hypocritical, since I voted twice this election and three times in March, but I don't think any of you should bother voting today.
Oh, how did I vote twice? I voted absentee a couple weeks ago and today the wife gave me her sample ballot and I filled in who to vote for. I'm kinda bummed to only vote twice because usually Lady D, and old customer of mine, would call up and have me go through her ballot with her, as well. Didn't hear from her this time around.
But the rest of you shouldn't bother. It doesn't make any difference. All you'll be doing is causing more work for the poll workers but the sun will rise in the East tomorrow just like it always did whether you vote or not.
So give it a rest. Don't vote... unless you're voting Libertarian.

You can vote again on Buhne's exit poll. And we've posted the first 2008 primary poll on Greg's List. So far Richard Marks and Wesley Chesbro are running for assembly in '08 - just in case you haven't had enough politics yet.
No, it never ends.

I'm voting Libertarian nearly across the board.
I can't vote Libertarian. It's just another political party to put into power. I have to go with decline-to-state candidates.
So Fred, what you're saying is that you actively engage in voter fraud via your two female accomplices....correct?
Fred, came by to say high yesterday but you had flown the coop. Look forward to stoping by and chating soon. Have fun and stay dry!!

Did you register your choices yet Fred? You'll have to run down to the coffee shop too if you want to vote twice...
Nick Bravo, I heard you were some kind of retard! Be proud sugar! Be a proud retard!
Nick says, "So Fred, what you're saying is that you actively engage in voter fraud via your two female accomplices....correct?".
Not at all. They fill out their own official ballots. I just mark down, or help them mark down, the choices on their sample ballots. Nothing fraudulent there.
Face it, Nick. If you were voting in Humboldt County, you'd probably mark your ballot based on my recommendations, just as so many others do.
Rich, I was out of town Sunday and Monday.
I find it really sad that these women aren't making their own decisions and letting you decide for them.
How depressing.
Fred doesnt like women who think for themselves. And the women around him know this, so they meekly stroke his ego.
Leave Fred alone....
misty at 12:55 and 1:07...don't despair or rag on Fredlet...I filled out my husbands ballot for him and he went to vote, like I have been filling it out for 22 years....he thanks me every year..so I guess I have been voting 2x each election too.
I also sign his income tax for him and god forbid he ever has to sign his name at the bank because I had to sign his name on the signature card too.
I wasn't really ragging about the "women" part of it which I realize it may seem that way, It's more that I find it really sad when people can't make up their minds, themselves, simply by reading the voting information very carefully someplace like smart voter. How can one not have an opinion (or sign their own name?)
Just seems important to me to do it for yourself.
"Fred doesnt like women who think for themselves"
1:07 clearly doens't know Fred AT ALL.
doesn't
Rose, how well do you know Fred?
I text messaged my wife on how to vote.
I base my votes on the best TV commercials. The G.I. Joe spot on Saturday far surpassed Barbie, so I voted Republican.
Libertarian? Aren't they the people who don't want the government to intervene when the rich steal working people blind?
"Libertarian? Aren't they the people who don't want the government to intervene when the rich steal working people blind?"
Sorry, this kind of propoganda is why I turned away from most liberal economic theories years ago. It just didn't seem to hold true in real life. I guess I just don't like being spoonfed B.S
Sad that some people such as yourself seem unable to function without their daily dose.
How come there are no attractive people running for office in Eureka? Look at the headshots on the Buhne Tribune. Yikes.
Libertarians are cold bastards... rumor has it you can't pick them up on thermal imaging.
Just look at Fred, he congratulates officers that kill kids who went to The Hall. He doesnt like women who think for themselves. He's a cold hearted snake, look into his eyes, oh oh oh....

This election toast goes to Shane Brinton for batting blanks (0-2) in '06! Maybe you should have told Dave to stick to campaigning instead of getting sucked into David Cobb's little schemes to destroy the Green Party.
I thought I knew Shane, but then look at who he backed. Makes no sense. Didn't make sense to voters, either.
shane looks great in pumps and tight skirts. maybe he should define his sexuality before worrying about politics.
Typical leftist circular-firing squad. Run dregs like Bobby Harris to drag down the votes for a real progressive like Winkler. Arcata deserves the government its going to get. Anything that makes Dan Hauser, Harmony Groves and Kevin Hoover giddy is bound to be corrupt and kleptocratic.
Brinton?
I wonder what qualifies this child to have an opinion on anything?
Gestures don't count for much....oh...he's figuring that out. Good.
I agree 9:19,fuck kids who speak out for what they believe in huh, they should just shut up and join the military,if they don't do that, slavery is always an option.
""Libertarian? Aren't they the people who don't want the government to intervene when the rich steal working people blind?".
Again: To know me is to love me.
Again with the class war....is that what you really want Fred. Dang...I thought you had something honorable here.
By some standards the working people are the rich. Or, didn't you know that?
We all need less government in our lives....we need less divisive hype as well.
