Gunderson Case Transcripts On E/R
First that I've noticed this. If someone else mentioned it, I missed it. The Eureka Reporter actually has transcripts, of a sort, of the Gunderson trial. Not exactly word for word, but close enough for me. Nicely addition.
On the E/R's home page, just scroll to the bottom of the Local News list and you'll see a box labeled "Gunderson Hearing". Or use the link I just supplied.

Do you still think Gunderson is being framed?
Not sure I ever said he was, but something stinks here. Neither Jane Doe seems like a good witness to me.
That said, looks like we're looking at some very disfunctional people here, regardless of what happened.
Hey Fred, you where a rent-a-cop a billion years ago right? Remember if you had a badge or not? Last job a blur from when you left to the next one starting?
It's turning into a case of I can't remember anything BUT THIS.
Here's a post from an Anon I accidentally rejected. I was in the middle of rejecting my barrage of morning comments from Jerry Droz when a legit comment got caught in the crossfire:
"I don't think it's a matter of being framed Andrew, it's a matter of credibility.
I'm not sure that so far, any of the players in this most disturbing proceeding have any.
It's either far too soon or far too late to take sides in this.
I don't recall Fred saying that G was being framed. He just questioned the veracity of the charges and testimony.
So do I.
Let's let it play out without the Heraldoesque cheap shots."

Yes. My memory gets worse and worse as time goes on, but I still remember a lot of things this gal claims to have forgotten. How can you forget the names of people you worked with- at least some of them- or whether you were issued a badge?

I don't believe I said he was being framed. I might have said it looked like he was being "set up". That's not quite the same in my mind.
I still feel that way simply from the barrage of charges they leveled at Gunderson. For some reason they really wanted to get him. Whether he deserves it, or not, I don't know.
His accusers aren't looking all that credible to me.
I agree, Fred. Something hasn't been right here from the very beginning.
Today's reports in the TS and ER aren't helping make it any better, either.
ER Jane Doe “felt coerced” into making statements
Doe 1 also brought up Margaret Gundersen, David Gundersen’s former wife, who also works at the HCSO.
She felt Margaret Gundersen orchestrated the interview because of a custody battle she was engaged in with David Gundersen, and wanted the interview to end.
“I wasn’t comfortable,” Doe 1 said. “I wasn’t OK with it.”

”I believe that there was a plan and I was part of it,” Jane Doe 1 said during cross examination by defense attorney Russell Clanton.

Jane Doe "I can't remember, but, I know I need to take the 5th.....WTF
Well if the defense attorney says it, it must be so.
