Another Presidential Quiz
Here's another one of those quizzes that matches you to a presidential candidate. The "No Courage" comment for most of the candidates seems to mean the candidate didn't respond to their written questionnaire.
I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. Gary Johnson at 76%
Congrats. I was mostly in there with Ron Paul and Gary Johnson, although I didn't check all the issues.
I was a bit startled to end up with Romney and Obama on National Security. I believe we should be able to target terrorists outside "official theaters of conflict". Unlike those two, though, I do realize the implications, especially since the definition of terrorist is given more and more latitude as time goes on.
"Henchman Of Justices" opines,
Gary Johnson @ 74% to Paul's 73% because Johnson is Pro-Choice while Paul is Pro-Life; SINCE HOJ is Pro-Choice (less the subsidies), the percentage CHANGED FROM Paul @ 79% & Johnson's 69% .....Not surprised though to see a Libertarian and a former Libertarian. Anyhow, the abortion question is "flawed" in that there are many who are ONLY PRO-CHOICE because of rape, incest and a few other things. As far as people irresponsibly having children who then want to "mix in a blender scenario" those fetuses, they get not 1 penny of taxpayers dollar's to do it, no free services before or after. Not saying the service is denied, but the mommy and daddy get to pay out the ying yang quite dearly as a matter of point! HOJ disfavors irresponsible soon-to-be parents who only think of getting layed and not what is being created.......anyhow, the abortion issue is sooooooo skewed. Afterall Fred (and others), how many times have you walked by or otherwise experienced a situation where you look at a child in the possession of an adult and YOU THINK, glad that parent was never my parent???
