Portland, Oregon Rejects Fluoride
Good news on the individual choice front for a change. A local election held in Portland this week seems to show a vote on fluoridation of the city's water going down to a pretty solid defeat. Apparently voters there rejected it twice earlier on before approving it in 1978. Then that approval was overturned somehow so the powers that be started trying to fluoridate the water again.
It's remarkable that places like San Jose and Sonoma County seem to be insisting on water fluoridation often against the wishes of residents. I can't help but wonder if there's some payola involved?

Seriously. You laugh, but I really can't see why there's such an intense effort by some for water fluoridation when fluoride is so readily available without it.
And once again my hometown sets another example for you Humboldt County people. I'm glad to have moved back home.

Most of the fluoride that is put into or water is Hydrofluoric acid Wich is a by product of mining that we purchase from China and yes there is big bucks in it and its laced with heavy metals
I can't believe the LibTards in Arcata fluoridate their water. But perhaps that's why they are on board with Agenda 21.

Fluoride is a poison. It says so on the tube of tooth paste. Seek medical attention if swallowed. I say leave it in the tooth paste and keep it out of the water. People choose to use tooth paste, water is a necessity.
They can even eat the toothpaste if they're so inclined. Seriously! I'm sure they could get a dentist or doctor to figure out how much toothpaste would give them a safe dose if they insist on ingesting it.
That's exactly what I suggested in the comments to a recent letter to the Press- Democrat where the writer promoted water fluoridation. One commentator to the letter agreed and suggested those that don't want fluoride in their water have a choice: buy bottled water, to which I naturally disagreed.
I suggested that doesn't give anyone a choice, but he already has a choice: if he wants to ingest fluoride, eat toothpaste or drink mouthwash. Nope. That wasn't good enough for him.
I'm amazed and appalled at how determined some are to fluoridate everyone else's water against their will. Here's a link to the letter. His comments are something to read:
