I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. Fred, always a quest to pin down your politics. Latest bit of evidence - you blog (this post) is blog-rolled at Humboldt Republicans. Do you think they would if you both don't share a great deal in common? i.e., the conservative aspects of Libertarianism? ie sceptism of government, belief, bordering on faith in the free market?
Damn! I had no idea the Republicans listed my blog. I suppose there is some commonality, at least in regards fiscal issues.
As far as blog rolls go, you may notice that I don't have any "Republican" blogs on my list here. I suppose Rose's Watchpaul blog might suffice for one.
All the other blogs are from lefties. I'm thinking of removing yet another one if only because I'd prefer not having strictly partisan blogs listed. Bill's Obama blog is a strictly partisan Obama worship blog so probably doesn't belong here. I grandfathered it in years ago and haven't had the heart to remove it yet.
