As long time readers here should know, I hate Christmas and have for as long as I can remember. But rather than trying to come up with some new observations about why xmas sucks, I invite you to read some of my hard hitting xmas related posts from the past. i agree Christmas sucks...too much expectation, too much money/time spendt on gifts and then the general feeling that what ever you do (about Christmas) is not good enough.
Instead of buying your Christmas tree from the lot, Fred suggests that you cut down a street tree from your neighborhood. Save $ and rid the sidewalks of annoying leaves and other droppings.
Merry Capitalism. Love that people go out on Black Friday to stand in long lines to buy crap made in China. Welcome to America

Christmas is a nice time, I enjoy all the lights, I enjoy shopping in the crowds and I enjoy having the family over for Christmas Eve dinner & Christmas Day dinner.
Of course it was much better when the kids were little.
