FDA vs. Vaping Petition
Change.org has a petition up urging the FDA to reject efforts to regulate e-cigarettes as tobacco and to stop referring to them as tobacco products.

This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. Good. They are not. These people only want $$$ through fear.
Signed, thanks.
Did you see the news regarding Leno's save the children bill which he dropped like a hot potato, as did the ALA & ACS, after the bill was amended to reflect that vapor is not a tobacco product? Save the children my ass. This is not the first time they've (ALA & politicians) have stooped this low. Also, someone forgot to read the memo that it's the parents rights to save the children, not the politicians. Go home politicians, you smell like dirty money.
Thank you for posting a link to this very important petition. Hopefully those that are trying to take away (legislate out of existence) this life saving device will sit up and take notice that we are not going to take this laying down. I was a smoker for 45+ years and failed each and every time I tried to just quit. I fully expected to go to my grave as a smoker. I have now been smoke free for 3 1/2 years.
We need to stand up and fight for those that have not yet made the switch to a much healthier way of life. Thank you, mattiem
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing the vaping petition!
A strong advocacy group, fighting the propaganda machine, is NOT-blowing-smoke in retort to the "still" blowing smoke propaganda campaign. http://notblowingsmoke.org
